Solution 02 — Filtration

Filtration & Membrane Systems

Whether the target is tertiary polish, wet-weather capacity, or reuse-grade water, the right filtration or membrane technology depends on the stream in front of it. We represent a range of platforms so the selection starts with your water, not our warehouse.

CLOTH MEDIA DISC FILTRATION

Aqua Disc

Tertiary filtration in a compact disc configuration

Aqua Disc filters use a rotating disc configuration fitted with pile cloth media to pull TSS, BOD, and phosphorus out of secondary effluent, with color removal and reuse-grade polishing available where required.

Because the cloth media filters continuously rather than in batch backwash cycles, the units run in a smaller footprint than a comparable sand filter and generate less backwash volume to manage.

  • Disc configuration with pile cloth filtration media
  • TSS, BOD & phosphorus removal, plus color removal
  • Compact footprint versus conventional sand filtration
  • Common retrofit for aging sand filter basins

WET-WEATHER FILTRATION

Aqua Storm

The same disc platform, sized for peak wet-weather flow

Aqua Storm applies the same cloth media disc technology in a configuration built for the high-flow, high-solids surges that come with wet weather and combined sewer overflow control.

It's an economical way to add wet-weather capacity at the plant without oversizing the entire secondary process for a handful of storm events a year.

  • Sized for high-flow, high-solids wet weather events
  • Chemical addition optional depending on target water quality
  • Helps control combined sewer overflow discharge
  • Avoids oversizing the full secondary treatment train

MEMBRANE SYSTEMS

Ceramic & Polymeric Membranes

Membrane filtration matched to the stream and the budget

Ceramic membranes bring an inorganic, highly durable filtration media to demanding streams — abrasive solids, aggressive cleaning chemistry, and long duty cycles are where ceramic tends to earn its higher first cost back.

Polymeric membranes cover a broader range of MBR, ultrafiltration, and microfiltration applications where footprint and capital cost are the priority, with performance that fits most municipal and industrial reuse projects.

  • Ceramic media for abrasive, high-fouling, or aggressive streams
  • Polymeric UF/MF membranes for MBR and reuse applications
  • Selected on stream chemistry, footprint, and lifecycle cost
  • Supports both new plants and existing footprint retrofits

PFAS TREATMENT

PFAS Solutions

Treatment trains built around your specific PFAS profile

PFAS treatment is rarely one piece of equipment — it's a train that typically pairs filtration or membrane pretreatment with adsorption or destructive technology, matched to the specific PFAS compounds, concentrations, and discharge target in play.

We work through that stack with you, from bench-scale questions through the equipment that ends up on the slab.

  • Pretreatment paired with adsorption or destructive technology
  • Approach matched to compound profile and discharge target
  • Applicable to both drinking water and wastewater streams
  • Engineering support from bench-scale through startup
